About Us
Atomic Energy Central School, Mysore was established on 5th March 1991 with 77 students, 1 regular Teacher, 5 adhoc teachers, 1 LDC and 1 MT Staff to serve the children of BARC employees. Initially housed in the Club House of the residential colony at Yelwal, it moved to its current building in 1997. Managed by Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), Mumbai, and affiliated with CBSE, the school has grown to ___ students, with a dedicated team of ___ staff members. The school has consistently excelled academically, with its first Class X batch in 1997 and Class XII batch in 2011 achieving outstanding results. Students have secured admissions to top medical, engineering, and professional institutions. The school has received prestigious awards constituted by A.E.E.S, Mumbai, including the Vikram Sarabhai Trophy (2002–2005) and the Dr. Homi Bhabha Trophy (2004–2005). In 2009, the school was upgraded to the Senior Secondary Level. The school has well established Science laboratories, computer laboratories, Library, activity rooms, a satellite interactive terminal room (ASTER Lab) and other infra structural facilities. AECS Mysore shines in co-curricular activities, with students earning recognition at national and international levels in chess, karate, and more. The unwavering dedication of the staff continues to drive the school towards greater achievements. While many milestones have been crossed, AECS Mysore remains committed to reaching new heights.

Courses Offered
Balavatika
The Balavatika section aims to provide early childhood care and education (ECCE) to children aged 3–6 years. It focuses on nurturing creativity, curiosity, and foundational skills through play-based and activity-oriented learning. It encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development in a joyful, safe environment.
Primary Section
The primary section (Classes I–V) emphasizes holistic development with a balanced curriculum. Core subjects like English, Mathematics, and Environmental Science are complemented by art, music, and physical education to foster well-rounded growth.
Secondary Section
In the secondary section (Classes VI–X), students build a strong academic foundation across science, mathematics, languages, and social studies. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, practical learning through well equipped laboratories and preparation for board examinations.
Senior Secondary Section
The senior secondary section (Classes XI–XII) offers Science streams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, along with a choice between Biology or Computer Science as the fourth subject. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for higher education emphasizing learning through hands-on experiments in well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science which provide practical exposure, fostering scientific inquiry.

INTER AECS RBVP - 2025
All the first prize winners at the school level RBVP represented AECS, Mysore in various categories at the All India Inter AECS, Rastriya Bal Vigyanik Pradarshini held at Mumbai, organised by AECS-4 Mumbai and AEJC Mumbai from 6th to 7th December 2025. In a remarkable display of talent and determination, Rishika M. of Class VIII bagged the first prize in Waste Management & Alternatives to Plastic, bringing immense pride and glory to the school.
52nd Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RBVP) – 2025
Shravani V.K. represented the school at the 52nd Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RBVP) – 2025, held at the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal from 18th to 23rd November 2025. Her project titled “Optimization of Solar Panel Placement Efficiency Using Machine Learning” came under the subtheme Mathematical Modelling and Computational Thinking and was guided by Ms. Vyshnavi Savanth, PGT (CS) on Contract.The project received remarkable appreciation and commendation from AI-domain experts associated with IIIT and IISER, who participated as guest speakers at the event, recognizing its strong technical merit. The school is extremely proud to announce that a patent application has been submitted for this project.
INTER AECS ART COMPETITION
The All India Inter AECS Art Competition 2025–26 was held on 29th October 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students of Balvatika to Class XII.
Kum. Shravani Vijay Khandagale won the Second Consolation Prize at the All India Inter AECS Art Competition 2025–26 held on 29th October 2025.
INTER AECS HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION -2025
Two teams from AECS, Mysore represented the school in the Junior and Senior categories at the Inter AECS Hindi Debate Competition held at AECS-1, Hyderabad, from 23rd to 25th September 2025. Kum. Riddhi Kochar and Kum. Rishitta Mishra competed in the Junior Category, while Kum. Shravani Vijay Khandagale and Kum. Anjali Ramesh Kumar represented the Senior Category. The senior team made AECS Mysore extremely proud by securing the Second Prize at the Senior Level.
ALL INDIA INTER AECS GENERAL KNOWLEDGE QUIZ COMPETITION - 2025
Master Rudra Mishra and Master Macha Surya Prajwal of AECS Mysore brought laurels to the school by securing the Second Position at the Zonal Level of the All India Inter AECS General Knowledge Quiz Competition 2025. The event was held at AECS, Indore, from 23rd to 25th September 2025.
ALL INDIA INTER AECS/JC ATHLETICS MEET - 2025
AECS, Mysore athletes excelled at the All India Inter AECS/JC Athletics Meet 2025 held at AECS-2, Kalpakkam from 11-10-2025 to 14-10-2025. Saanvi V. of Class VIII won third place in the 200 metres, and the Girls’ Relay Team secured second place in the 4 × 400 metres relay.
IOQM - 2025
Tarun Raj Maurya of Class VIII and Jaykrishanan of Class IX have qualified for the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM), held at AECS Mysore on 7th September 2025. Out of 21 participating students, the two of them excelled by scoring 15 out of 100 marks, surpassing the qualifying cutoff of 10.
All India Inter AECS Cultural Meet 2025
Students of AECS, Mysore participated enthusiastically in the All India Inter AECS Cultural Meet held from 21st to 23rd July 2025 at AECS, Kudankulam. They competed in various categories, including instrumental and vocal solos in both junior and senior categories, as well as a group performance in the junior category. Kum. Shravani V.K. of Class XII bagged the second prize in the Senior String Instrument category and Mas. Ruthresh of Class XII was awarded the Encouragement Prize in the Senior Western Percussion Instrument category.
AISC 2024 Challenge of the Year 2024 – School Track.
Kum. Shravani Vijay Khandagale was felicitated during the morning assembly on 24th April 2025, as her project was adjudged one of the top three first prize-winning projects in the Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing – AISC 2024 Challenge of the Year 2024 – School Track.Her project, titled "Optimization of Solar Panels Using Machine Learning," leverages real-time data and AI-ML-driven optimization to adjust the tilt of solar panels, ensuring maximum efficiency.
CRYPTICS 8.0
Six students of AECS Mysore enthusiastically participated in Cryptics 8.0, an All-India Level Computer Quiz Competition organized by Vydehi School of Excellence. The preliminary round, conducted online on 31st October 2025, provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their logical thinking, problem-solving skills and computer knowledge at the national level and was guided by Ms. Vyshnavi Savanth, PGT (CS) on Contract.
Following the preliminary round, Master Surya Prajwal of Class VIII and Kum. Viva More of Class VI B qualified for the next round, which was conducted on 19th November 2025.
IISC PRAVEGA
Master Abhinand C. S. of Class IX, with his project titled “AI Doctor,” and Kum. Rishitta Mishra of Class X, with her project titled “AI-Based Water Bodies Waste Tracker,” have been selected as finalists for the prestigious Pravega XII Science & Technology Exhibition, organised by IISc Bengaluru, in recognition of their innovative and high-quality projects. The Grand Finale is tentatively scheduled to be held from 6–8 February 2026.

Master Mokshith Reddy M of class X was selected at the District Level for the INSPIRE MANAK Award and received ₹10,000/- for the year 2024–25 in recognition of the science project titled - “ SIGN LANGUAGE RECOGNIZER USING Artificial Intelligence

PAINTING COMPETITION
Kum. Sannidhi Satish of Class VI B participated in the painting competition conducted by the Ministry of Power to promote energy conservation among students and was shortlisted for the State Level competition held at CPRI, the Nodal Centre for Karnataka on 21st November 2025. She also received a cash prize of ₹2,000 for being among the top 50 participants from the state.

Republic Day
AECS Mysore celebrated the 76th Republic Day on 26th January 2025 with great enthusiasm and national pride. The celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Shri M.R. Veeresh Kumar, Project Director, RMP/BARC, Mysuru followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Prizes were awarded to the parade commanders, platoon commanders, best cadets from each platoon, and students who delivered speeches.
World Environment Day
AECS, Mysore observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2025. Smt. Sakamma, an environment enthusiast and nursery owner, was the Chief Guest. The Principal, Shri Pramod Kumar Gangadharan, addressed the gathering on the importance of environmental conservation. The event concluded with sapling plantation by the Chief Guest, Principal, teachers and students.
The National Fire Safety Week 2025
The National Fire Safety Week 2025 was observed at the school from 14th April 2025 to 20th April 2025, in collaboration with the Fire Section, RMP. On 15th April 2025, Shri Manish Kumar , Station Officer, Fire & Safety Department, RMP, Mysore Shri Tuntun Yadav, Sub-Officer and the team of personnel orchestrated enlightening demonstrations to make the students and the staff aware of the various fire-fighting techniques and imparted knowledge about the ways to respond swiftly in times of an emergency.
Investiture Ceremony 2025
The Investiture Ceremony was held on 29th April 2025 in the school auditorium.Smt. Shobha Ananda Bhakthan, the chief guest, pinned the badges to the student office bearers, marking the beginning of a year filled with activities. She also addressed the students, inspiring them to strive for excellence. A traditional dance performance trained by Smt. Maski Sangeetha, PRT(SS), entertained the audience.On this occasion, the newsletter ‘Anudhwani-2024-25’ was released by the chief guest.
Farewell
AEES in collaboration with National Commission for Protection of Child Rights organised an online training programme in four phases for all the staff of AEES in the month of August, 2025. The staff of AECS, Mysore attended the training programme in the ASTER Lab of the school. The programme titled “An overview of POCSO Act and other Child Protection Laws for creating a safe environment for children” aimed to empower all to play a vital role in protecting children from sexual abuse and creating a safer and more supportive environment for all.
International Yoga Day 2025
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2025 with great enthusiasm. After addressing the gathering about the importance of yoga, the Principal, Shri Pramod Kumar Gangadharan along with Headmaster, Shri Sainatha Chakravarthi, actively participated in the yoga session along with the students of Classes IV to XII, under the guidance of Smt. Reena C.T., PET (SS), at the Multipurpose Hall, RMP Colony, Yelwala, Mysore. Meanwhile, the students of Classes I to III performed yoga in the school auditorium, led by Smt. Maski Sangeetha, PRT(SS), Healthy refreshments were distributed to all students and staff after the session
Farewell
A heartfelt farewell was held at AECS Mysore to honour Ms. Jeyanthi, our dedicated librarian, who retired on superannuation after 24 years of sincere and dedicated service on 30th June 2025. The staff and students expressed their praise and gratitude through speeches, songs and poems, recalling her unwavering dedication, gentle demeanour and the lasting legacy she left behind.
Gyansavardhan Programme
The Gyansavardhan Programme on Cyber Security was held at AECS Mysore on 7th July 2025 for students of Classes X to XII. Sri Francis Devasahayam B. Assistant Professor and Head, Dept. of Criminology and Forensic Science, St. Philomina’s College (Autonomous ), Mysore was the resource person. The session covered various aspects of cyber security, including types of cybercrimes, safety measures, and government initiatives. Interactive activities like a quiz and case studies helped students understand the importance of staying safe online.
PTM
The school held a Parent- Teacher (PTM) meeting on 26th July 2025 to discuss the academic progress and overall development of the students
SCIENCE QUIZ AND ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION
The Mysore Chapter of the Indian Nuclear Society, BARC, Mysuru organised a science quiz and essay writing competition on 28th July 2025 in which the students of the secondary section participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their scientific aptitude.
PARTITION HORROR REMEMBRANCE DAY
Partition Horrors Remembrance Day was observed at AECS, Mysore on 14th August 2025 during the morning assembly to commemorate the victims and sufferings of people during the Partition of India in 1947. Shri Ganesh K. P., TGT (SST), addressed the gathering and spoke on the significance of the day. Kumari Lavanya of Class X also shared her thoughts on the horrors of Partition. On the occasion, a video documentary was screened for the students, helping them understand the painful experiences of that period.
INDEPENDENCE DAY
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated on the school campus on 15th August 2025. Shri T. Pundarikakshudu, DCA, Accounts Section, RMP/BARC/Mysuru, was the Chief Guest. He hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the role and contribution of the student community towards the progress of the nation.
Gyansavardhan Programme
A special lecture on the “Importance of Horticulture in India” was organized on 16th August 2025 under the Gyan Samvardhan initiative at Atomic Energy Central School, Mysuru. The objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about the significant role of horticulture in ensuring food and nutritional security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and exploring career opportunities in the agricultural sector.The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jasmitha B. G., Assistant Professor, S. Cariappa College of Agriculture, Kanakapura
OUTREACH PROGRAM
To highlight the importance of the joint family system and harmonious living, the students of AECS, Mysore, staged a thought-provoking street play titled “Koodi Baalidare Swarga Sukha” (If We Live Together, Life Becomes Heaven).As part of the school’s outreach program, the skit was performed in Yelwala town on 18th August 2025, attracting a large audience. The play was well-received, drawing appreciation for its strong social message and impactful performance. The students were guided and trained by Smt. Sowmya Y.S. TGT(Kannada) and Shri Ananda G. PRT(Kannada)
SADHBHAVANA DIWAS
AECS, Mysore observed Sadbhavana Divas on 20th August 2025 during the morning assembly to promote harmony and goodwill among people. On this occasion, Master Devarsh Pramod and Kum. LIVE SCIENCE QUIZ
The Mysore Chapter of the Indian Nuclear Society, BARC, Mysuru organised a Live Science Quiz and Prize Distribution Programme on 25th August 2025 at AECS Mysore with great enthusiasm. The event began with a welcome address by Principal Shri Pramod Kumar Gangadharan, followed by an enlightening technical talk on nuclear energy by Shri Chadrashekhara. The Live Science Quiz Final Round kept the audience engaged as six teams competed with zeal. Chief Guest Shri M. R. Veeresh Kumar, Project Director, RMP, Mysuru and Co-Chariman LMC, AECS, Mysore addressed the gathering and also presided over the prize distribution, awarding winners of the Essay Writing Competition and Science Quiz. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Vice-Principal Ms. Dipti Srivastava, marking a day of learning, competition and celebration.
GYANSAVARDHAN PROGRAMME
On 25th August 2025, Atomic Energy Central School, Mysuru, organized an inspiring motivational session under the Gyan Samvardhan initiative. The guest speaker was Mrs. Aatma Maurya, who has a distinguished academic and professional record. Mrs. Maurya advised students to focus on self-growth, time management and avoiding distractions, urging them to compete with themselves rather than others. She answered many questions raised by the students. The session left a lasting impression on the students, motivating them to chase their dreams with dedication, hard work and self-belief.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
National Sports Day was observed on 29th August 2025 at AECS, Mysore. The Chief Guest Dr. N.B. Suresh, Former International Volleyball Coach and Director, Sports Authority of India SAG Training Centre Thalassery, Kerala, delivered an inspiring speech. A few sports events were conducted in which students took part with vitality and vigour. Trophies were given away to the winners.
HINDI PAKHWADA
Hindi Pakhwada commenced with great enthusiasm on 01st September 2025, marked by the celebration of Hindi Diwas. On this occasion, our Principal, Shri Pramod Kumar Gangadharan, welcomed the gathering in Hindi. Kum. Ektha Jha and Kum. Disha delivered insightful speeches and Mas Rudra Mishra recited a poem. Smt. Shobha Ananda Bhakthan, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the school in bringing out the best in the students in her speech while Shri Suresh Kumar Meena, TGT(Hindi), highlighted the significance of the day. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Smt. Vandana, PRT(SS).
TEACHERS’ DAY
AECS Mysore celebrated Teachers’ Day on 4th September 2025 as 5th September was a holiday. The day began with a special assembly where student leaders took charge as teachers. Shri R. Dinesh Babu, Associate Director (P), ChTG, Mysuru and Chairman LMC and Shri M. R. Veeresh Kumar, Project Director, RMP and Co-Chairman LMC, Mysore along with LMC members, graced the occasion in two different phases and felicitated the teachers. Students presented cultural programs and fun games, while alumni and retired teachers were honoured. The celebration was filled with joy, gratitude, and respect for the teaching fraternity
IOQM
The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM), the first stage for students aspiring to participate in the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), was conducted in the school on 7th September 2025. A total of 21 students appeared for the examination
SWACHHATA PAKHWADA
AECS, Mysore observed Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 with a series of meaningful activities promoting cleanliness and hygiene. Highlights included the Swachhata Oath, a student cycle rally, a health talk by Dr. Varsha on hygiene and sanitation, a tree plantation drive, painting and poem competitions, and performances on handwashing and cleanliness themes. Students also presented skits on waste segregation and water conservation, spreading the message that cleanliness is a lifelong responsibility.
SCIENCE EXHIBITION
AECS Mysore organized the School-level Rashtriya Bal Vigyanik Pradarshini on 16th October 2025 for students of Classes IV to XII. Prof. Pradyumn Kumar Sethy, Principal of the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prizes were announced to winners across various categories. The first prize-winning students will represent AECS Mysore at the All India Inter AECS Rashtriya Bal Vigyanik Pradarshini to be held in Mumbai in December 2025.
Kannada Rajyotsava
AECS Mysore celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava on 1st November 2025 with grandeur. The programme included the lighting of the lamp ceremony, garlanding of Bhuvaneshwari Devi’s portrait, a welcome address by Smt. Soumya Y.S., TGT (Kannada), a speech by Sannidhi Satish of Class VI, a fancy dress event in which students portrayed famous personalities of Karnataka, a melodious rendition by the music teacher, Shri. Anna Sadashiva, addresses by the Principal, Shri Pramod Kumar Gangadharan, and the Headmaster, Shri Sainatha Chakravarthi, a dance performance by the students, and finally a vote of thanks.
Interschool STEM Convention 2025
Two students each from Classes VIII to X attended the Three-Day Interschool STEM Convention 2025, organized by Excel Public School, Mysuru, along with Mrs. Priyanka Jattar, PRT (Science) and Ms. Vyshnavi Savanth, PGT (CS) on Contract. The convention was themed “Innovating Tomorrow: The Future in Our Hands”. The event commenced on 6th November 2025 with the STEM Teacher Convention on “Empowering Educators through Innovation”, focusing on fostering creativity and technology-driven teaching practices in the classroom.Day 2 (7th November) featured the Student Convention on “Innovate, Compete, Solve”, including hands-on workshops and project showcases that encourage collaboration and problem-solving. Day 3 (15th November), themed “Inspire and Celebrate,” highlighted innovation through exhibitions where students and teachers present creative STEM solutions.
All India Inter AECS Volley Ball tournament
Four teams from AECS, Mysore participated in the All India Inter AECS Volley Ball tournament held at AECS, Narora from 8th November to 11th November 2025. Smt. Reena CT, PET(SS), Shri Punith, PET and Shri Ananda G, PRT escorted a contingent of 39 students to the event. The boys’ Under-14 and Under-19 teams showcased their exceptional skills and advanced to the quarterfinals.
GREEN Olympiad
The GREEN Olympiad, a leading school-based initiative of TERI for students of Classes 4 to 12, aimed at sensitizing and building their capacity on environment, sustainability and green skills, was conducted in the school on 10th November 2025. 82 students of the school participated in the Olympiad.
Children’s Day
Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at AECS Mysore on 14th November 2025. Teachers conducted a special assembly, the lamp was lit and the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was garlanded by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Headmaster and the teachers incharge of the programme. A group song and a speech by Smt. Preetilata Jha added charm to the event, followed by an address by the Principal. Fun games, food stalls and educational documentaries made the day enjoyable and memorable for all students.
National Library Week
AECS Mysore observed National Library Week from 14th to 20th November with a series of engaging competitions such as solving a crossword puzzle, book mark making, word search, essay writing etc. Starting from 15th November, students participated enthusiastically in the events held throughout the week. The names of winners were announced during the morning assembly, adding excitement and pride to the celebrations.
Vigilance Awareness Week
AECS Mysore observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2 November 2025, with the theme "Vigilance:Our Shared Responsibility". The Vice-Principal administered the vigilance pledge in Hindi and the Headmaster administered the same in English, to the faculty and students. Students participated enthusiastically in competitions such as slogan writing and essay writing.
Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha
The Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha was conducted on 19th November 2025, at Atomic Energy Central School, Mysuru. 49 students who had registered for the test actively took part in the event
Homi Jehangir Bhabha birth anniversary
Homi Jehangir Bhabha, the father of the Indian nuclear programme, was remembered with reverence and respect on 30 October 2025, his birth anniversary, with the lighting of the lamp and the garlanding of his portrait. Kumari Sannidhi Satish delivered a speech highlighting his contributions to society.
Ekta Diwas – National Unity Day
Ekta Diwas – National Unity Day was observed at AECS, Mysore on 31 October 2025 to honour the remarkable contributions of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Kumari Huvishka C. of Class V delivered a speech on the occasion during the morning assembly
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM)
Students of the school took part in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), a national program by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with NCERT and NCSM. Sixteen students who qualified, appeared online on 23rd November for Level II.
Constitution Day
Constitution Day was observed on 26th November 2025 at AECS Mysore. Master Surya Prajwal of Class VIII read out the Preamble, which was repeated by the entire assembly. Master Sanjay Tatoo delivered an insightful speech, and a mock parliament was presented, helping students understand the functioning of democratic processes.
CCA Day 2025
CCA Day 2025 was celebrated over two consecutive days at AECS Mysore—2nd December 2025 for the Primary Section and 3rd December 2025 for the Secondary Section.The Chief Guest for the Primary Section was Smt. Sudha S., Retired Headmistress, AECS Mysuru, and for the Secondary Section, the school welcomed Shri Deepthi Kumar, Project Manager, Essential Services (ES), RMP/BARC, Mysuru.Each day’s programme began with a welcome address by the Principal, Shri Pramod Kumar Gangadharan, followed by the presentation of the CCA reports by the CCA Incharges—Smt. Saroja Swaminathan for the Primary Section and Smt. Preetilata Jha for the Secondary Section.Certificates were then awarded to the prize winners, acknowledging their achievements in various co-curricular activities held throughout the year. After the prize distribution, the respective Chief Guests addressed the gathering, encouraging and motivating the students.As part of the cultural segment, group dance performances were presented on both days.The programmes on both days concluded with a vote of thanks, delivered by the Headmaster, Shri Sainatha Chakravarthi, on the CCA Day of the Primary Section, and by Smt. Preetilata Jha on the CCA Day of the Secondary Section.
Social Awareness
The National Association of Disabled’s Enterprises shared sponsorship forms with the students of AECS Mysore as part of their “Sponsor a Disabled” scheme, aimed at supporting the education, training and rehabilitation of underprivileged individuals with disabilities. Parents were requested to go through the forms sent through their wards and contribute voluntarily to the cause. The parent community responded generously and a total amount of Rs. 54,431 was collected and sent to the organization in the first week of December 2025.
KAMP NASTA
Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP), an initiative and knowledge alliance of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) – National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR), along with its industrial partner M/s Nysa Communications Pvt. Ltd. (NCPL), Noida, conducted the National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude (NASTA) examination in the school on 05/12/2025 for students of Classes 3 to 11. A total of 40 enthusiastic students participated in the exam.
INTERACTIVE DISPLAY PANELS
AECS, Mysore received five 75-inch touch-screen interactive display panels with several inbuilt features on 19th August 2025 from AEES as part of efforts to enhance the teaching-learning experience. Following this, an online training session on the effective use of the newly supplied Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) was conducted for all teaching staff on 24th September 2025. The session equipped teachers with the necessary skills to integrate the panels seamlessly into classroom instruction.
Skills for the Future - Choosing the Right Path in a Changing World
On 18 December 2025, a career talk was conducted for students of Grades 9-12, CBSE, by Mrs. Vani Kunikullaya. The session, titled "Skills for the Future - Choosing the Right Path in a Changing World," aimed to guide students in making informed decisions about their future careers.
The 2.5-hour session covered four key topics:

SAFAL-KSA
The SAFAL-KSA (Structured Assessment for Analyzing Learning – Key Stage Assessment), a CBSE-mandated competency-based diagnostic assessment for students of Classes VI and IX, was conducted from 08.12.2025 to 10.12.2025 for Class IX and from 11.12.2025 to 16.12.2025 for Class VI.
The Annual Sports Prize Distribution Day
The Annual Sports Prize Distribution Day was celebrated on 20th December 2025 in two sessions for the Secondary and Senior Secondary Sections, followed by the Primary Section. The programme was graced by Smt. Raji Prakash, Senior Accounts Officer, RMP Mysore, as Chief Guest and Smt. Rachana Sanjay Paras, Deputy Chief Security Officer, RMP Mysore, as Guest of Honour.The dignitaries were welcomed by the Principal and Vice-Principal. Sports reports were presented by Mrs. Reena C. T., Sports In-charge (Secondary and Senior Secondary), and Mrs. Anitha Y. R., Sports In-charge (Primary Section). Prizes were awarded to students for their outstanding sports achievements, and the guests highlighted the importance of sports in shaping discipline, teamwork, and leadership.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice-Principal, Ms. Dipti Srivastava, in the first session and the Headmaster, Shri Sainatha Chakravarthi, in the second session.
PRIMARY SECTION EXCERTION
AECS, Mysore successfully organised Educational Tours–2025 for students of Classes I to V across various dates from 11th to 17th December 2025. The students of Classes I and II visited the Planet Earth Aquarium and the Rail Museum, where they gained first-hand exposure to aquatic life and the evolution of rail transport.Students of Classes III, IV, and V enjoyed an enriching excursion to the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and the Payana Vintage Car Museum, offering them valuable insights into biodiversity, wildlife conservation, and automotive heritage.The tours provided a perfect blend of fun and learning, encouraging curiosity, observation, and meaningful interaction beyond the classroom.
SENIOR SECONDARY AND SECONDARY EXCERTION
Students of Classes VI to XII participated in the Educational Tour–2025 on 19th December 2025, exploring diverse destinations that highlighted nature, ecology, and cultural heritage. The itinerary included visits to Dubare Elephant Camp, Kaveri Nisargadhama, Kushalnagar, Harangi Reservoir, and the Golden Temple (Namdroling Buddhist Monastery) at Bylakuppe.The thoughtfully planned excursion offered students a rich outdoor learning experience, deepening their understanding of environmental conservation, geography and cultural diversity while fostering social bonding and an appreciation for India’s natural and spiritual heritage.
